| 18 | André was a Canadian pianist, composer, conductor, arranger, and actor, known for his fusion of classical and pop styles. André was born in 1936. He was the youngest of 19 children of David Gagnon and Amanda Lajoie. His interest in music began in childhood. André learned to play the piano and began composing as a young child. He took theory lessons with Léon Destroismaisons in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière; studied at Conservatoire de musique à Montréal (CMM) from 1957 to 1961, and in 1961 on a grant from the Quebec government, studied in Paris with Yvonne Loriod. He never married and had no children. He passed away in 2020 after a long battle with Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).[1] Awards - Juno Awards for his records Saga (1974) and Neiges (1975), and as best instrumentalist (1977 and 1995) - the Prix Félix for instrumental album of the year 12 times between 1978 and 2017 - SOCAN’s William Harold Moon Award for his contribution to Canadian music - made an Officer of the Order of Canada - made Officier of the Ordre National du Québec | Gagnon, André (I90)

Dominique Bernard born 18 Nov 1641 in La Rochelle. Marie Bernard born about 1645 in Acadie. Jeanne Bernard born about 1647 in Acadie. Antoine Belliveau and Andree Guyon (Gouin) were married about 1651 and had a daughter Madeleine Belliveau born about 1654. --------------------------------------------------- You have a lot of problems with the information here. First, Jean Guyon and Mathurine Robin are not the parents of Andree Guyon. Both Andree and Mathurine have DNA results and they do not match. Next Andree and Andre Bernard had 2 daughters. They do not have a son Rene, he is unknown. Andre was exiled back to France in 1651, and not heard from after that time, burial unknown. In 1651 Andree married Antoine Belliveau and is buried with him, somewhere. They had one daughter, Madeleine Belliveau, born in 1654. I do agree with Flora Dufresne that Andree Guyon Bernard was not the daughter of Mathurine Robin as there are at least 4 mitochondrial DNA (T2b3-C151T) results from her descendants that prove the woman are of different lines. However, Ms. Flora Dufresne is in error with Andree Guyon Bernard's haplogroup, as she stated it as T3, which is not correct. Stephen White, who confirmed dad's results, states that Andre Bernard was not the husband of Andree Guyon....he remains an unknown Bernard male....and Andree Guyon's parents are also unknown. Can we clean up the memorial? All of the above can be checked through the FTDNA projects listed above as well as Karen Theriot Reader's roots web database. | 26 | Charles Marcel Lebel was born and baptized on 4 Nov 1835 in Saint-Louis parish, Kamouraska, Lower Canada. He was the son of Alexandre Lebel, farmer in this parish, and Marie Rose Lavoix. Godparents for Charles Marcel's baptism were Marcel Sirois dit Duplessis and Marie Catherine Plourde; neither godparent signed the register. At age 23 Marcel married first wife Marie Severine Michaud, age 21, on 10 May 1859 in Saint-Louis, Kamouraska, Canada-Est. There were three known children born into this marriage. Césarie Michaud died at age 24 on 19 Aug 1861 in Saint-Louis, Kamouraska.. At age 26 Marcel married second wife Sémier Côté, age 39, widow of Henri Boisbriand, on 10 Feb 1862 in Saint-Arsène, Rivière-du-Loup, Canada-Est. He was her third husband; there were three known children born into this marriage. Sémier Côté died at age 68 on 7 Nov 1890 in Saint-Arsène. He passed away in 1904. Godparents at Cémire's baptism were Jean Baptiste Chalou and Véronique Côté. Cémire was married three times. At age 18 she married first husband Remi Saindon on 19 Jan 1841 in Saint-Georges parish. At age 21 Cémire married second husband Henri Boisbriand on 12 Feb 1844 in Saint-Georges parish. There were three known children born into this marriage. At age 39 Cémire married second husband Marcel Lebel on 10 Feb 1862 in Saint-Arsène parish in Rivière-du-Loup. There were four known children born into this marriage.
